During the off-season, your fans may have left their application behind following the end of the season. What better time to update your visual identity! By refreshing your app each season, you show your fans that you are a modern, innovative and committed club for its fans. But also create a new club dynamic to start the season, new visuals for new sporting objectives!

The interest of updating your application between two seasons is multiple. We will show you some of the advantages of doing so:

  • Provide a feeling of novelty for your fans. A new season means a new jersey, a new player, and therefore a new application. When your fans log in for the start of the season, they will see new visuals and will therefore be immediately involved in the new season.
  • Give importance to your fans. Changing the visuals takes time to create and implement these new visuals. By taking time on this task, you show your fans that your club is invested in updating the app to keep its fans happy on a daily basis.
  • Engage your fans. Engaging your fans is a daily job, it is important to constantly innovate to satisfy your fans and keep them using your app on a daily basis.

To make this identity change, it is important to keep certain elements in mind when you want to implement such changes:

  • bFAN Sports updates every 6-8 weeks and some visuals may require resubmission to the stores. bFAN does not have control over the timeframe of store submissions. For example, if you would like your artwork to be visible to your fans on a specific date, please contact the bFAN Sports team.
  • At the end of the season, when your fans are using the application less regularly, it is the ideal time to do some real time testing and see how the application looks. During this period, traffic is lower and you can take advantage of this to make the necessary changes. This will have less impact on your fans than testing during the season.

The visuals are key elements of the application, it is what represents your identity, it is what defines you, and differentiates you from other clubs. It is therefore important to do a lot of work on this task. By changing regularly, you allow your fans to have a new application every season. Your fans will have a more enjoyable time on the app by rediscovering it with the new design!
